I recently found this on a new blog I am following www.themonthofblank.blogspot.com The blog is written by Mariah Kelly, the quote from Marianne Williamson. I read it and loved it and then as if by some twist of fate , or sign from above I was working in the new bedroom and found this same quote printed out and laying on the floor. I used to have it hanging on my desk when i worked from home. Think somebody's trying to tell me something? I hope so. Because I plan on listening.
We listen to the ugly voices in our head that tell us we aren't good enough or pretty enough or smart enough and so on and blah blah blah. Why is that ugly voice so loud but the positive stuff is merely a whisper.
So this is for all of you, me included, who need to be reminded that we are stronger then we think, more beautiful then we see,and better then we could ever realize! Let your light shine people... Let your light shine! ~Stacey
"Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented, and fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people the permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson
